  • Description

    Adventure Rising is a fantasy/adventure game which is a mixture of Explore and Combine. The game can be played by 2-4 players and varies in length, depending on the selected game variant, from 1 to 5 hours.

    Basic idea and mechanisms:
    The goal of the game is to explore the maze Raden-kar, and make your way to the center of the board, the "eye of the darkness,". Each hero starts at one of the four corners of the game board.If the board is empty, the heroes put "Domaincards" on the board. These cards show the heroes the way on the board and even include special places and scenes of Raden-kar. At a Domain, heroes draw "dungeon cards", divided in 3 levels (easy, medium and hard).
    In the middle of the game board lies the "eye of darkness". There lives the Guardian, a particularly strong and dangerous creature that can only be defeated if the hero is strong enough and if the hero has certain equipment with him.

    Goal Game
    The game has three variants: Adventurer, Hero and Master. In all variants the hero must reach the "eye of darkness" and destroy the Guardian on Hero and Master.

    1 Gameboard, 90 Domaincards , 140 Dungeon cards in 3 Levels, 60 Treasure cards in 3 Levels, 6 Hero cards und 6 Hero figures, 20 Spell cards, 20 Potion cards, 52 Purchase cards, 6 Artefact und 6 Guardian cards, 20 Level stones in 3 colors, 20 Life points, 20 Gold coins, 20 Mana points, 20 Experience points, 8x1W6 Dice, 1 1W10 Dice, 4 Cardholder, 1 Rulebook.

    The Boardgame Adventure Rising is new a type, which interconnects different elements and aspects of other plays: Card, board, - and Rolegames.

    The Game runs round based with which the heroes can use points of action. So a hero can put new Domaincards on the board, move, examine Domaincards or play also countercards. The counter cards are malicious variations of the Locationcards. These cards will be played against other Heros to block their ways or roundaboutway it. Fights against monsters or samples implemented with one or more D6. The dice result indicates like well a hero attacked, defended or a sample existed.

    Gamegoal
    On hero and master mode the winner who defeat the guardian recive a artifactcard. There are 6 of them.
    The player keeps this card and it can be used in the next play again. The player who has the most artifactcards after 6 games wins the campaign. Additional all player receive a certain number of victorypoints. With these points a player can buy new skills or rangs for his hero. So a player can try always new combinations of heroes and skills.
