Alice

Alice

  • Description

This game consists of 44 cards. There are 8 sets of 5 cards each, 2 white rabbit cards, and 2 Cheshire Cat cards. The artwork on these cards is based on the Disney movie. This game has a very "Go Fish" feel to it where players are trying to assemble sets by asking each other for cards. However, players can refuse to give up cards by playing white rabbit cards. Additionally, if a player has asked for a card from a player who does not have it, he can play a Cheshire Cat card for a second chance. The game is played in several rounds until one player reaches 50 points.

This game is just called Alice because De La Rue had already made a game called Alice in Wonderland. However that title returns to the Pepys name when the game was reproduced by Gibsons in the 80's.
Actually, the Gibson game is a version of the De La Rue game but this Pepys game is original to itself.
