    Summary of Play:

Each turn in Americana! Travel Edition players roll a six sided die with colored symbols on it to determine the category the question they are about to be asked will be from. Based on knowing the category the player decides whether they want to answer the easier "Civil Lore!" questions or the more challenging "Cannon Fodder" questions. After their choice is made an opponent draws a card from the appropriate deck and reads the question from the rolled category. If the player answers correctly they collect the card and take another turn, if they are incorrect or unable to answer, the card is discarded and the next player gets a turn. After either a previously determined number of cards are read (e.g. 30 - 40 question cards read) or an agreed upon time limit is reached (for example 15 - 30 minutes) the game ends and players score their cards. Civil Lore! cards are worth one point, Cannon Fodder cards are worth two points, the highest total score wins the game.
