    ASRUS is the first game from the new Korean game publisher Piece Craft Games.

    It is a light filler where players play number cards to be the closest to the target number without being the same distance away as any other players. Points are awarded based on the difference between the winning card and the target card.

    From the game box:

    ASRUS is an acronym for Astro Ludus, which means 'Game of the Stars'. In the vast universe players make own way toward the star. To approach the star as close as possible, each player should predict other's strategy, make own strategy, and show each strategy at the same time. Just fall into the world of ASRUS there is the coexistence of the beauty of stars and the fierce psychological warfare! Simple rules, cute characters, and glass stones twinkling like stars will enhance the enjoyment of hte game. In addtion, the skill of calculation and memory can be developed. Strategy, prediction, and chance will lead you to a victory.

    Brief Rules:

    Object is get most glass stones (stone = point). At start, each player have same number of glass stones and playing cards. Open one number card from the discard deck, and this number card becomes the destination. Now each player should make 'the closest and unique distance' every turn to get glass stones. The 'distance' means a difference of number between the destination and the number card chosen by a player.

    Turn sequence as follows:

    1. All players submit one number card hidden without order.You can play one special card hidden depending on the need(The use of special card is optional).

    2. After all players submit cards, open them at the same time.

    3. If there are special cards, apply the instructions. Then calculate distances of each number card from destination (the difference between the played number and target number), and make a winner. Players that are the same distance cannot win the turn. The winner of the turn is the player with the smallest unique distance.

    4. The winner’s distance is the points awarded, and winner takes glass stones equaling these points from each player.

    5.. Now the winner’s number card is new destination. Discard all other opened cards.
    The process from 1 to 5 is a turn.

    When players use all cards, one round ends. And after some rounds(default 3 rounds) the player who has the most glass stones wins.
