Beaver

Beaver

  • Description

This card game from the 1920s has a picture of a beaver named "Bonzo" on the box, but this character is not one of the animals in the game! The 52 cards of the game include 13 sets of 4. There is a 53rd card used for scoring purposes only. All of the artwork is by G E Studdy, who's most famous creation was "Bonzo."

The 52 cards are broken down into 4 suits of thirteen. Each suit represents a 'job' and the character in the suit grows more hair as the suit progresses. They go from being bald-faced to being a 'Beaver' with a full beard.
