Blue Max is not a complete game in itself it is an expansion kit for WWW's popular game Aces High, dealing with aerial combat during World War 1. Coverage of the Great War in the air is extended to cover Italy, Macedonia and Palestine, as well as the strategic bombing raids on Britain and Germany. Counters and data sheets are provided for 39 new types and variants of aircraft over 20 new scenarios are provided which use these new aircraft as well as several types which were provided in the original game, but for which no scenario was given.
