This is a collection of three Checkers variants that were published in the April, 1997 issue of Games Magazine. It requires a checkerboard and checkers which must be numbered 1-6 on one side. (2 of each number, in each color.)
In the first variant, a checker can only jump another checker that has the same number or lower. In the second variant, each time a player jumps he or she scores points equal to the difference between the two checkers. The third variant has players scoring point values of all checkers they capture. In addition, pieces that reach the final row are removed from the board and the owner of that piece scores its point value. First player to 30 wins.
