A spelling game from the 1930s, which might best be described as a "free form" Scrabble.
Cards are dealt, and each player spells words, attaching them to any existing words in "crossword" fashion. The first player to get rid of all their cards wins the round, and the other players add the value of their remaining cards to their score. Games ends when someone reaches 100 points, and LOW SCORE wins.
The letter cards, how many of each, and their values:
Free 2 10 I 2 8 R 4 6
A 6 8 J 2 4 S 6 6
B 2 4 K 2 6 T 6 6
C 4 6 L 6 6 U 4 6
D 2 4 M 4 6 V 2 4
E 8 8 N 4 6 W 4 6
F 2 2 O 6 6 X 2 1
G 4 2 P 2 6 Y 2 2
H 4 6 Q 2 2 Z 2 1
Gameplay seems very similar to Kan-U-Go, though the letter values are different.
