This children's game consisted of a plastic replica aircraft carrier deck and a movable joystick attached to a nylon filament pulley system which would be connected to an item of furniture. A model F4 Phantom jet was able to make landings on the mock-up carrier deck.
An arrestor hook on the undercarriage of the jet would catch a nylon trip wire on the replica flight deck during a landing, stopping the plane and raising a trap door on the deck, indicating a point scored for a successful landing.
Flight Deck was played in competition between two players, but was also suitable for solo play.
Airfix released an improved version - Outside the Scope of BGG - in 1975, featuring a catapult launch system and improved mechanics -
