Kaleidos Junior

Kaleidos Junior

  • Description

Kaleidos Junior comes with four identical sets of eight drawings, with each drawing depicting a scene packed (to greater and lesser extent) with stuff. Each player or team uses its own set of drawings.

Each round, everyone looks at the same drawing from their set, then someone spins a spinner which will indicate two letters. One player chooses which of the two letters all players will use, then everyone has sixty seconds to write down as many things as possible that are in the drawing and that begin with that letter. Although each word can be listed only once – for example, a football and baseball don't count as two separate balls – an object can be used multiple times for different words, such as "baseball" and "ball". Of course, you can adopt whatever house rules you prefer.

Once time has expired, players read through their lists. Any object on multiple lists scores one point for those who wrote it. Any item unique to a single list scores five points. After all lists have been scored, everyone advances to the next drawing and a new letter is chosen. The player or team with the highest score after all eight drawings wins!
