La Conquête du Monde revised
-
Description
This game is an expansion of Risk (Risiko/Ataque/War) and you will play it using the sets of playing pieces and territory cards from your own box.
The game is played on a Pacific centred map which shows a new link between Argentina and Eastern Australia. There are three main differences with Risk rules regarding:
- steps mechanism;
- territory's value;
- secret missions.There is also a variant named "Blind play". People who are interested can ask for blind play rules.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Risk I self-produced this not for sale expansion. The object of La Conquête du Monde revised is to reach your own secret mission which has a value of 102 victory points over 194 victory points of the game board.
Each territory has a strategic value corresponding to the number of borders it has (Japan has 2 victory points value). But if a territory has a border with a continent this value is doubled. So, for example, the strategic value of North Africa, Ukraine and Southern Europe is 9 victory points instead of 6.
The 102 victory points score represented in the secret missions corresponds to an average of 22 territories.
