Lazo is an abstract tile placing game. The object is to form a loop, either on the board surface or 3-dimensionally. The tiles stack like cannonballs. Also included in the rules book is the 3-D wargame Gridwar, featuring simultaneous tile movement, promotion of units, moving up, down, and across levels, capture/demotion of enemy pieces, and zones of control. The board for both games is a grid of triangular holes, in the overall shape of a trapezoid.
