The Belligerents (A vivid game of Modern Combat) is one of the few pre-WWII wargames from France. Featuring a board on heavy card stock with various terrain features and a superimposed grid for movement of units. The game is driven by dice rolling and has units representing air, artillery, tank, ambulance, spy, guard, patrol and infantry. Each unit has a value on the bottom to represent the impact of capture.
