Napoleon's Later Campaigns
-
Description
Napoleon's Later Campaigns is a retrofit rules system designed to increase the historical accuracy of the games in the related Napoleon's Last Battles (NLB) / Napoleon at Leipzig (NAL) family of 1-hour turn, brigade-level, grand tactical Napoleonic study wargames. It is designed to replace the rules of any game in that system, and where necessary, specific retrofit rules (e.g. for special scenario rules) are provided for most games in the series.
The rules are intended to form a new family of games, "backward compatible" with these games, and that is "fast, low to moderate complexity ... combining a grand tactical perspective ... with a focus on a historically sound use of units."
The games that have been refitted for the system include:
Napoleon's Last Battles
Napoleon at Leipzig
The Battle for Dresden 1813
Napoleon on the Danube
Clash of the Eagles: Borodino & Friedland
Four Lost Battles
Wellington Vs Massena
Napoleon and the Archduke Charles: The Battle of Abensberg
Napoleon and the Archduke Charles: The Battle of Eckmuhl
Caldiero 1796New games using the system:
Salamanca: Marmont vs Wellington -
