Alderac Entertainment Group, maker of the Legend of the Five Rings CCG, announced that it will launch a new CCG, Phase, this summer. The new CCG features two-sided cards, one side featuring the forces of Good, the other featuring the forces of Evil. Players compete to defeat their opponents and secure The Mirror. The game asks players the question, “How bad do you want to be good?”

Phase will be launched in Starters and Booster Packs.

Greetings all. After a great deal of discussion around the office and looking at our amazing upcoming game lines this year, we have decided that the best opportunity for Phase to succeed will require moving back its release date. We have a very busy 2010, featuring Dust Tactics, The City-State of Tempest, Tomb of Iuchiban, Thunderstone expansions, and more.

For Phase to get all the attention it requires will mean moving the release to early 2011. We know this will be a disappointment for some who were looking forward to the release, but we want Phase to be a hit, and that's going to require our full attention. So, we hope you'll enjoy our other new games through the rest of this year and we'll see you with Phase in early 2011!
