    The Riachuelo’s Naval Battle is a war game for two players, that reproduces the riverine naval battle of June 11, 1865, where, during the War of the Triple Alliance (known in Brazil as the Paraguayan War). In this battle the admiral Barroso achieved an important victory, destroying a great part of the Paraguayan fleet.

    The Naval battle of Riachuelo, was on the Paraná river, in the province of Corrientes, Argentina and is considered by the military historians as one of the most important battles of Triple Alliance War (1864-1865). It is also known as one of the main naval battles of the Brazilian Navy and it guaranteed the supremacy of Brazil in terms of naval control.
