Robosoccer
-
Description
Yes. Robots play soccer too. But a brutal version of it!
ROBOSOCCER is a board game of movement and ball control whose objective is to score a goal (taking your ball to the last row) before your opponent does. Move your robots, and push, and jump above your opponent's robots until you score a goal.
Re-implements: Mundialito (Gold Cup)
Mundialito (Gold Cup) was the first winner of the NESTORGAMES continuous abstract game design contest. It was also finalist of the Granollers game design contest.
Néstor re-themed it as ROBOSOCCER, adding a few changes:
- Martian Coasters are replaced by a 6x6 customizable board. More than 16.000 different playing fiels can be created by using the 14 small arrows included in the game. A default configuration is also included.
- Icehouse pyramids are replaced by 3 different types of laser-cut acrylic robo-meeples.
- The whole set is published under nestorgames format 1.
- A few rules have been added to prevent passive gameplay (first line defense).
- Artist Jorge Galán was hired for designing the artwork. -
