Both as a promotion and for use in Role-Playing Game Association, (RPGA), sanctioned D&D 3.5 games, these templates were distributed to RPGA members.Printed on a thick transparent plastic sheet the templates could be cut out and used to determine the area-of-effect of commonly used cone and burst type spells.
