The games are played on a board that folds into a ramp. The players take turns sending the Slinky down the ramp trying to land on the best squares marked on the scoring field. All squares touched are added to the score. There game came with three different boards: "Numbers Game", "Baseball Game", and "Big Game Hunt."
The board for the Numbers Game has squares marked with positive and negative numbers. The center square is normally worth 10 points. However, if the Slinky ends up in "standing position" in the center square and not touching any other square, 50 points are scored.
The Baseball and Big Game Hunt boards are marked according to their themes.
The rules folder offers a bounty of $25 for anyone offering a suggestion for the improvement of the game that is accepted and used.
