Description
The players is entering an adventure in the Inkworld. This m? However, they must always be wary of the henchmen of the snake head. Because Basta, the Shadow and other bad guys are in their heels. Those who - even with the help of Dustfinger - collect the correct Experience tokens and exchange them into Victory points at the right moment, has good chances to win the game.
But beware not to end up in the hands of the White Lady!
Tintenblut (Inkblood) has become "Inkspell" in the English edition of the second book by Cornelia Funke in her famous Inkworld trilogy that began with "Tintenherz"
This is a game in the Kosmos line of literature-based games.
One Turn basically consists of three phases:
1. play one travelling card and move your playing piece to the location on the map, maybe spending provisions to go further than one stretch.
There you can collect reward tokens, i.e. experience tokens or provisions tokens.
If you are alone in a location you will get rewards that differ from rewards you will get when there is at least one other player’s piece or Dustfinger2. you may make special deal in exchanging experience token into provisions tokens or vice versa at a 2:1 ratio
3. exchange experience tokens into victory points:
2 different experience tokens: 2 victory points
3 different experience tokens: 4 victory points
4 different experience tokens: 7 victory pointsImportant rules:
the one who plays the travelling card with the highest number in a given round, must draw a henchman card. When the Snake/Adder Head is drawn, the one with the most dangerous henchmen loses half of his tokens, rounded up!
Some fields on the victory track require your playing piece to be on a certain location on the map.
So, make a plan and be flexible to adjust your plan.
