Ximo

Ximo

  • Description

The game of Ximo is a set of variants of the traditional game Nim, where you try to be the last player able to pick a marker up off the table. It comes with a cloth bag and a supply of wooden disks with various symbols on them. The symbols place restrictions on what disks may be picked up, allowing for strategic plays. There are several variations included.

This game was never published. I had a lot of fun with the idea and I was going to sell copies, but the wooden disks were costing me too much at the time. I had enough from my prototypes to make two copies of the game. I gave them away (along with some other games I made) in a contest in late 2006.
